In this project, Kulefisk constructed three children’s rooms inside an apartment at Majorstuen. It’s a “building within a building,” at the intersection of architecture and furniture.
The solution was designed by architect Joachim Skajaa and involves the use of lightweight structural elements that create divisions while allowing light to penetrate into the innermost parts of the room.
We have built the rooms using hand-milled pine profiles and birch plywood panels. Wellen glass surfaces ensure the entry of light while also reducing visibility between the three rooms.
Kulefisk has handled the detailed drawings and project execution.
